On May 12, 2009, The County Council unanimously confirmed the appointment of Susie Comer to the Public Works Advisory Committee. As a member of the Board, Susie will have the opportunity to demonstrate her continued commitment to the citizens of Harford County . We know her enthusiasm and tenacity will prove to be a real asset to the Board.
After many years of service as Estimator and Project Manager for Comer Construction, Mr. Les Cox retired on May 28th. Les was very instrumental in successfully securing millions of dollars of underground utility work for Comer Construction and will be sincerely missed by all. We all join together to wish him many more years of good health, happiness and relaxation and hope he will finally catch his big fish!
We are pleased to announce that Dwight Miller, who has been employed with Comer Construction since February 25, 1988 , has accepted the position created by the retirement of Les Cox. Dwight, better known as “Bert” to most, started with Comer Construction as a laborer in our utility division and quickly moved up to the position of pipe layer. In 2000, Dwight was promoted to utility foreman and successfully mastered all aspects of underground utility installation. We believe his expert knowledge of underground utilities will be a tremendous asset in his estimating career and congratulate him on his accomplishment. |
