At first glance the family that just passed you on the street appears to be like so many other Harford County families. A father, mother and two young children just out for a day of shopping. But if you had followed them later that day you would see that they were not going home to their house in Bel Air or a condominium in Havre de Grace, but for this family, whatever the circumstances, a lost job or devastating disability money and time un out and having a warm safe place to call home had dramatically changed to shelter in a car or van or in an abandoned transport container somewhere along RT 40, in a tent on the Ma and Pa trail or if they are really fortunate, temporary shelter in a hotel.
But today, for this family and other like them they are no longer living in sub-adequate conditions but a safe and comfortable place of their own, thanks to Harford Family House.

In order to raise the funding needed to repair and renovate the Delle Grove Apartment Building, Harford Family House has embarked on a capital campaign. Thanks to tremendous support from the community, we are more than halfway to our goal, but we need your help to get there. Whatever you can do to support this effort, it will help to provide a safe, decent home to a homeless family with children.
