Spring Fling
This annual bull roast style event is a cornerstone of our fund (and friend) raising activities. From dancing and good food to a silent auction and raffle, there is something for everyone at this event. Sponsorship opportunities are available. Stay tuned for details of the 2011 Spring Fling!

Harford’s Most Beautiful Baby Contest
The second annual Harford’s Most Beautiful Baby Contest will be starting soon! In partnership with SARC, HFH will be looking for the most beautiful baby in Harford County. Sponsorship opportunities are available. Look for more details soon.

Home Runs for the Homeless
This event is Harford Family House’s alternative to the traditional golf outing. Held in August, teams of 4 are able to take their turns at bat at Ripken Stadium, home of the Aberdeen IronBirds. Each team member gets 15 at-bats. The team with the longest yardage is declared the winner and gets a team trophy and bragging rights for the year. Congratulations to Rite Aid, the 2010 Home Runs for the Homeless Champion!

Purse Auction
A unique event to benefit Harford Family House along with FCCAU and Habitat for Humanity. The second annual Purse Auction held in September 2010 raised more than $24,000 to benefit these organizations. Stay tuned for details on the 2011 event!

Get on the Bus
This is a no cost, no obligation opportunity for you to “Get on the Bus” and learn more about what Harford Family House does. Sponsored in partnership with Harford Habitat for Humanity, this is a great way to start your day.

Each tour starts at 8 AM at a business in the Aberdeen area. Participants have the opportunity to enjoy a light breakfast and networking. At 8:30, everyone gets on the bus for the quick ride to a Habitat for Humanity house followed by a stop at Harford Family House. Although there is no cost to participate in this eye-opening tour, reservations are required as space is limited.

Parties with a Purpose
Turn your next event or party into a fundraiser for Harford Family House. Raise money and awareness for homeless families with children.

• Birthday parties, Baptisms & other Religious celebrations
  Invite guests to donate money or goods to Harford Family House instead of bringing a host or party gift.
  
• Dale asked her friends and families to bring a donation of cash or items from our needs list to her 80th Birthday party instead of gifts. Through this, Dale was able to restock our supply closet!
• In-home sales parties
  Host a scrap booking, jewelry, fashion, or home accessories party and donate a portion of the total sales for goods or services purchased to Harford Family House.
• Ann Marie is hosting an open house and Jewelry sale at Harford Family House. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to our programs!
• Weddings
  Ask guests to donate money or goods to Harford Family House in honor of the happy couple.
• Concerts, Holiday & Anniversary Parties, Wine Tastings, TEas and more
