Mr. Hickey is the Firm's founding member and concentrates his practice in creditors' rights, bankruptcy law, including representing creditors and debtors in workouts and in bankruptcy proceedings, commercial and civil litigation, tax representation, criminal defense, appellate practice, corporations, foreclosure prevention, wills and estates and intellectual property . His practice also includes business and civil litigation and general corporate representation. He represents clients before federal and state courts and administrative agencies.

Mr. Hickey was born in Olney, Maryland on May 31, 1976. In 2003, he was admitted to practice law in the State of Maryland by the Maryland Court of Appeals. In 2004, he became a member of the bars for United States District Court for the District of Maryland, including the Federal Bankruptcy Court and the bars for the United States Tax Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit.

Mr. Hickey received a Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in finance and marketing from the University of Maryland at College Park in 1999 and went on to obtain a Masters in Business Administration from University of Baltimore, School of Business in 2003. Mr. Hickey received his Juris Doctor degree from University of Baltimore in 2003.

Mr. Hickey is a member of Maryland State Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Bankruptcy Bar Association for the District of Maryland.
