Established in 2010, Total Rehab at Home is co-owned by local Physical Therapist, Steven Kunkel, Jr. and his wife Keri Kunkel. Steve has spent over ten years working in the out-patient orthopedic sector in the Cecil County and surrounding areas in Maryland. While working with the geriatric community, Steve determined that there is a need for in-home therapy services falling under the Medicare Part B benefit. Under these benefits, clients do not need to be classified as "homebound" and are able to receive in-home physical, occupational, and speech-language therapy without the need for skilled nursing care. Because we are unique to the state of Maryland, Total Rehab at Home hopes to expand from Cecil County throughout the entire state of Maryland.
