Tristan’s Playground stands for all disabled children who cannot use traditional playgrounds… Go to your nearest local playground and look around at it, think to yourself: “What can a child in a wheelchair do on here?” Think about everything there from the play areas to the ground surface, Most likely you will find that yes local playgrounds that are new and colorful do “comply” with the American Disabilities Association’s compliance code, as far as the standards on how many play areas are on ground level vs. play areas elevated, you will notice at least one point of entry that has a wheelchair access, then look at the ground and take notice to the option used for this particular play area. If you live in an area that has taken initiative and created a FULLY ACCESSIBLE playground please let us know so we can recognize those areas and commend them for doing so.Tristan's Playground strives to bring playgrounds to all areas who are in need of our services.
