Calvary United Methodist Church was built in 1821 out of stone from the nearby quarry in rural Harford County. It is nestled in between the quarry and farms on Route 136 (Calvary Road). Calvary was established by Richard Webster and has been in continuous use since 1821. This makes it the oldest, continuous, originally Methodist church on the western shore of Maryland.

The original floor plan is still in existence. The original slave gallery is still accessible. The sanctuary will seat over 100 people.

A fellowship hall is attached to the building that features a catering kitchen. The hall will seat 100 people.
