The State of Pennsylvania has one
of the finest and most lucrative stallion and breeder’s
programs available. Since its inception, The Pennsylvania
Breeding Fund has grown from annual disbursements
of $65,000 to nearly $15 million. Now, with the addition
of slots’ revenue pouring into the Program,
Thoroughbred owners and breeders have potential for
even greater profits. WynOaks Farm invites you to
join us in this great opportunity! We are seeking
your young stallions to become the new leaders of
the stallion ranks in Pennsylvania.
WynOaks Farm is a new and exciting
LLC with vision and determination to become one of
the best Thoroughbred breeding and racing facilities
in the Mid-Atlantic. Located in York County in the
southeast corner of Pennsylvania, our new barns, pastures
and paddocks sit atop rolling green hills - the perfect
environment for your stallion prospect. The owners,

WynOaks Farm operated by Chip Wheeler
and wife, Barbara, who have been involved in the breeding
and racing industry some 30 years at the family owned
St. Omer’s Farm in Forest Hill, Maryland. St.
Omer’s is most well known for having bred Kattegat’s
Pride, a ten (10) time stakes winner and career earner
of over $500,000 in the mid 1980s. More recently,
two additional home-breds, Silmaril and Lexi Star
have dominated Maryland’s Distaff Handicap Division
with combined earnings of more than $1,000,000. Silmaril
is most famous for having defeated 2004 Breeder’s
Cup and 2005 Eclipse Award Winner, Ashado, in the
Pimlico Breeder’s Cup Distaff Handicap (gr.
III). WynOaks Farm is following in the footsteps of
this successful Maryland breeding operation by developing
exceptional and talented Thoroughbreds for the Pennsylvania
